Mount Eden

Just a 15 minute walk to the namesake of the suburb, Mount Eden, also known as Maungawhau, grants stunning vistas of Auckland in every direction from its peak. This is a regular exercise and leisure spot for the current tenants.

Gym Tonic is a four minute walk and has been very popular with the house. There are two pools, a five lane and a smaller pool, both recently refurbished. There is also access to a sauna.

This long stretch of road is full of excellent eateries, known well for its range of Asian cuisine. There is also a popular Irish pub and a sports bar that are frequented spots for the tenants.

Eden Park is only a brief 12 minutes walk from the property and many  house mates have enjoyed rugby and cricket matches there. It is New Zealand’s largest sports stadium, with a capacity of 50,000, making it the largest stadium in New Zealand. Eden Park is also one of the world’s most famous sporting venues.
